Is Five Surveys worth it in 2026? Here’s how I earned.

There are many survey sites out there. One that stands out from the rest has arisen, known as Five Surveys. I’ve been using this site for a while to generate respectable side income online.

What is Five Surveys?

Five Surveys is a survey site + offer platform, but much more well known for the surveys. It does not host it’s own surveys but links to others via various routers, similar to most platforms. Five Surveys stands out for one reason — it’s high earning potential. The platform pays a whole $1 for each survey (or whatever it is in your local currency). This means that you can earn $5 for every 5 surveys you complete. And yes, you can withdraw every $5.

This is higher than most sites which is obviously the most attractive thing about the platform. The surveys remain the same style (market research) as other sites but just pay more. So it is just as easy to qualify as other sites, but disqualifications will still occur.

Five Surveys has also recently added offers, which can be seen on the platform. If you’re interested in offers, this might be attractive to you. However, the pay for them is relatively average compared to other sites. But they do have pretty high absolute figures so don’t reject them because of that if you do like them.

How to get started

Five Surveys has no complicated sign up process. Simply head to the website and create an account through clear instructions, which you can do through Google, Facebook, or Apple if you wish. Once done, you’ll be sent to the onboarding survey.

The onboarding survey is a very short survey that will ask of your basic demographics such as age, gender, and employment status. They use this information in order to recommend surveys that are tailored to your profile and are relevant to you. Therefore, it is important to be honest here, as it will be harder to qualify for surveys. Also, inconsistencies will eventually have your account flagged, so make sure to stay honest.

Once you finish that you will have one survey complete and you’ll see this in your progress bar. Continue on, and complete 5 to get your earnings!

Earning potential

As mentioned earlier, you can earn and withdraw from this site once for every 5 surveys you complete. Surveys come in a variety of length, ranging from 3 minutes to 25 at the high end. But most will be around 10 minutes. If you focus on shorter surveys, you could withdraw potentially $5–10 every hour on good days, depending on your region. This is an above average earning potential for a survey site, but expect less at times due to disqualifications and survey availability variations.

Most sites do not pay $1 per survey, so this makes Five Surveys above average in this regard by default. So if the amount you earn is most important to you, it’s worth trying five surveys.

However, survey availability will vary. This is mostly on weekends, when market researches are on holiday. Also remember that some days are just naturally worse than others, but this is normal on all survey sites so don’t let it discourage you.

Overall I would say it is above most sites such as Swagbucks and Branded surveys, but is not in the tier of Prolific or Cloud Connect. Those two sites are better due to very rare disqualifications and regulation on the surveys you would recieve.

Withdrawals

There are a great variety of withdrawal options on the site, ranging from bank transfers to PayPal, to hundreds of gift cards.

Five Surveys definitely shines here, with way more withdrawal options than nearly all sites. The only negative here is that there is no crypto option, which is used by some.

Withdrawals are also instant. This is good as some other sites will make you wait up to 24hrs for your money. Verification before first withdrawal involves just a phone number verification and a short review (<30 mins). This is necessary for them to combat fraud.

Exact earnings from my account

Over my time in Five Surveys, since 2024, I have been able to make a respectable amount.

This is a pretty sizeable amount from surveys, and this was done in combination with studies and using other sites, as well as general life. So if you really wanted to, I’m sure you could surpass this with some time. This shows that the earning potential is there for Five Surveys but effort will be needed for the high numbers.

What people get wrong

This will be the same as for most survey sites. One thing people get wrong is not being honest on your profile. Survey sites can detect this using advanced statistical techniques, as well as more simple ones like asking the same question twice in a survey. This will not only prevent you from getting paid for a survey complete, but if your answers are inconsistent, your surveys may be charged back which will lead to your account eventually being banned. So always stay consistent and honest to your real situation.

The next one is using multiple accounts. Again, survey sites are ready for this and can detect it using browser fingerprinting and manual verification. This is one of the reasons they ask you to verify your phone number. If you lose an account, just move to the myriads of other sites- don’t try to game the system.

Five Surveys is for people new to surveys who want to make a small buck for their money online as well as advanced survey takers looking to increase their income. The site is easy to use and even has a mobile app so you can take surveys on your phone. Surveys are simple and consistent. If you are looking to move to a higher income survey site, this one is for you.

My honest verdict

Honestly, Five Surveys is one of the better survey sites. This is because of the above average earning potential, high amount of withdrawal options, easy sign up and relatively fast verification. Right now, this is still one of my favourite sites which I am using consistently still. But if you are an offers person, maybe this one isn’t for you.
